The annual RS Sprint Championship is an exciting weekend where your racing skills will be put to the test in the company of great friends at one of the best dinghy racing clubs in the UK. Fast and frantic sprint racing. Friendly club: full catering, well stocked bar, accommodation on site, camping next door. Saturday evening meal tickets available to buy with entry

hereThe Sprint Championships for each class (RS100, RS300, RS400 and 2000) will be rounds of short races
Classes will be divided into smaller fleets (less than approximately 12 boats) and larger fleets
Smaller fleets will sail together in all races throughout the regatta. For larger fleets there will be round robin racing in Round One on Saturday. On the basis of Round One positions, the competitors in the larger fleets will be split into gold, silver, and possibly bronze fleets for Round Two, which will comprise 6 races to be held on Sunday
Entry fee:
RS100 and RS300 £32
RS400 and 2000 £43
Rutland SC members have a special entry fee of just £3.50 for single hander and just £6 for double hander. You must enter online so that you can be flighted but please pay me cash at registration.
Registration:
0830-1100hrs Sat 22 April upstairs in the Wet Bar
It is essential that you register before 1100hrs to allow round-robin fleet allocations to be completed in time for the competitor briefing
Briefing:
1200hrs Sat 22 April in the Wet Bar
Schedule:
Sat 22 April first warning signal 1300hrs: six races
Sun 23 April first warning signal 1025hrs: six races
No race will be started after 1430hrs Sun
It is essential that you follow the check, clean and dry procedures

1. Do you have one full RS Class Association in your RS100, RS300 or RS400 or a 2000 Class Association Member in your 2000? If not you will need to join. To
do this click on Join the RS Association in the menu to your left or click on the link to the 2000 Class Association website

2. Do you have an under 18 year old in your boat? If so you need to print off the Under 18 Consent Form
here
and bring it correctly signed to registration
3. Click on the entry form in the menu to your left. Don't forget to buy your Sat evening meal tickets with your entry
The Shore Side Fun:
Rutland Waterfront galley will be open the whole weekend offering a wide variety of hot and cold food and drinks
Breakfast will be available Saturday and Sunday from 0830hrs

After a good day's racing settle down to dine with your friends and then natter in the bar
The Saturday evening meal will be served at 1900hrs
You have three main course choices and two pudding choices:
1. Homemade lasagne with chips and salad then either homemade apple pie or chocolate fudge cake both served with custard, cream or ice cream for £11
2. Homemade chicken and leek pie with chips, vegetables and gravy then either homemade apple pie or chocolate fudge cake both served with custard, cream or ice cream for £12
3. Vegetarian choice of stilton and vegetable bake then either homemade apple pie or chocolate fudge cake both served with custard, cream or ice cream for £11
