The first round of the 2001 Northern Tour for RS200�s was held at Leigh &
Lowton SC on Sunday 25th March.
In complete contrast to last years event there was wind, not much, but
enough to cause a few moments! The 11 strong fleet shared the windward
leeward course with the RS400�s so approaching the windward mark as the
400�s were leaving it proved interesting to say the least. Tom & Jo
Hewitson (RNCYC) led the first race from Edd Whitehead & Lucy Dufton
(Filey) with Richard Whiteley & Annabelle Banham (Ripon) chasing hard,
this trio giving the trailing 400�s a run for their money at times.
