The perfect family summer beach holiday destination is GJW Abersoch Week 24-29 July.
Race every morning from the beach with up to 300 other dinghies.
The beach has the right kind of sand to make sandcastles and dams. There is a inquisitive seal colony on the islands you can sail between. You can get everything you need in the village. You park the boat on the beach so it is a doddle to return ashore and rejoin family beach life. Oh and the sailing area is one of the best around and SCYC put on a really good event with something on every evening.
