Results / Crewsaver End of Season Championships Datchet Water SC - 10/11/2012
The seven 300's, all from Aldenham SC, had been looking forward to sailing on the wide open and windy expanse of Datchet, only to be frustrated by the eventual light conditions.
Racing was completely dominated by Harry McVicar winning all 6 races, and even showing the 100's, 500's and 700's in our start the way to go at times - by the way - the new way downwind is straight down - none of this fancy dan reaching at crazy angles - but boy it doesn't half give you sore knees !!!
Backing up Harry was Duncan Jenkins, benefiting from a number of Sunday no-shows, in second place overall. New to the fleet but already showing great boatspeed.
